Doordarshan Old Tv Serial Kile Ka Rahasya

Where do I find episodes of old Doordarshan tele-serials like Kile ka Rahasya and Reporter? How can I download old Doordarshan TV serials for free? Where can I watch the old Doordarshan TV serial Hum Log? On 17 November 2014, Doordarshan relaunched with a new theme of pink and purple, accompanied by a new punchline, Desh Ka Apna Channel, meaning 'the country's own channel'. It was announced by Vijayalaxmi Chhabra, Director General of Doordarshan. Now, Doordarshan transmits through a network of nearly 1,400 terrestrial transmitters. There are about 46 Doordarshan studios producing TV programmes. Pls pls can anyone tell me where i can see this kile ka rehesya.i had never seen,i repeat never seen such horror serial.want to get the old wonderful memories back.i m looking to get this serial.most ultimate horror serial of all times.

To talk of my favourite 10 serials. It was a nice ride down memory’s lanes.

Interestingly, 9 out of the 10 serials were shown on DD and till mid 1990s (8 of them on national channel and one on DD2)!! The reasons for these can be simple. Till the cable network invaded India, DD serials were controlled by a panel of experts.

Number of episodes were fixed (13, 26 etc.) and hence there was no need of overstretching the serials. DD being the only channel, only the best serials could be shown.

There was quite some honest attempts to make the serials memorable. After the entry of cable, many serials (including those on DD) got stretched out and to please public, somewhere the essence of the serial was lost. Some serials, that started in a great way, but lost on their appeal due to this overstretching factor include Kyunki, Kahin Kissi Roz, Junoon, Imtihan etc. Well here is my list. Indradhanush (DD, Childrens Serial, Sundays, 1988-89) Lets start the count down by my favourite kiddie serial. Does anyone remember this?

Plot Overview: A couple of school kids assemble a computer (in those times computer was something unimaginable for the common kid). Then the events take a lot of weird turns, one of the kids (the lead character) gets kidnapped by someone from Andromida Galaxy and then there is time travel etc Highlights: Great concept for that time and very nicely narrated. Akshay Anand (who plays Ajay Devgan’s younger brother in Jakhm) is in a lead role and I don’t know who played the other lead – the guy who assembled the computer.

Also Karan Johar had a role in this serial as a child actor. Jassi Jaisi koi Nahin(Sony TV, Drama, Daily, Current) The only contemporary serial in my list. That’s because so far they have not dragged the serial like Ekta Kapoor does. Plot Overview: Story of a plain looking girl fighting in the corporate jungle. Highlights: Very sincere performances, no over dramatization and (so far) no over stretching of the story.

Ramayan(DD, Mythological, Sundays, 1985-86) The first mega serial of the TV. The first serial that made people addicted to the TV set and the popularity of TV increased. Plot Overview: The epic Highlights: Verygood dramatization and music.

The melodrama in the epic was very nicely brought out by Ramanand Sagar and crew. Kshitij Yeh Nahin(DD, Drama, Monday?, Early 1990s) Does anyone remember this? The beauty of this serial was it was a 13 episode serial and the story telling, performance and the sequence of events made it a serial to remember. Plot Overview: The tussle of between the widow of a businessman and his rival. Ultimately both of them get married, thanks to the father inlaw. Highlights: Sincere performance, no emotional/ comical overtone, no un necessary characters. Ye Jo Hai Zindagi (DD, Comedy, Fridays?

1984-85) Heydo I see a smile on your face? Well that’s Ye Jo Hai Zindagi even today it brings smiles on our faces. Plot Overview: Story of small family and their neighbours (Bhattacharyas) with one guest appearance (Satish Shah) in every episode. Highlights: It put together the greatesr=t comedian starcast in Indian cinema. All the lead characters (Swarup Sampath, Rakesh Bedi, Safi Inamdar, Satish shah, Tinku Talsaniya, Farida Jalal etc.) have gone on for years bringing laughter to our daily lives.

    Hindi

Karamchand(DD, Suspense,??, Late 1980s) The story of the carrot chewing detective and his assistant. Plot: A detective with a sense of humour. Highlights: Whats more can we say even today we call Pankaj Kapoor as Karamchand. Dekh Bhai Dekh (DD2, Comedy,??, Early 1990s) Another comedy in the list. Some may feel that this is slightly high ranked but still Plot Overview: Meet the Deewan Family, where everyone is a Deewana. Highlights: Sekhar Suman gained his TV stardom from this serial.

Also a lot of relatively newcomers established themselves (Bhavna Bhalsavar, Vishal Singh and Amar Upadhaya to name a few). BTW, can anyone tell me why did they expose (I mean expose the skin) of Vishal singh so much in the serial?

He was shown on skin coloured underwares, he was shown in ridiculously small shorts and in one episode, he showed his bare back too!!! Qile ka Rahasya (DD, Suspense, Tuesdays, 1988-89) The suspense thriller that scared me so much that I was afraid to get up and go to toilet in the night!! Plot Overview: Yeh hai abhisapt qilaa. Shadiyon puranaa. Bhul se bhi koi ish mein, mat jaanaa. The story of a mysterioud qila that created terror among some visitors and the mystery behind this.

Highlights: The fearfactor was too much to digest, without showing a deadbody. Talash(DD, Drama, Wednessdays, 1992) The no. 2 on my list. I remember, one serial, for which I could give everything up. Plot Overview: A brother (Alok Nath) goes in search of his younger brother (Vijeyendra Ghatke) who has been missing for years. After a lot of search, he comes to a small township, where the queen (Maushumi Chatterjee) is the most respected person.

People are very nice to him. Until he mentions the name of his brother Highlights: Great suspense and great follow-up after the suspense was broken.

Mahabharat (DD, Mythological, Sundays, 1989-90) Whats more can I say of this serial. In simple, the serial that stopped traffic on roads, that forced official meetings to be delayed. That made the brides get away from the mandap. Plot Overview: The epic Highlights: Everything. The music, the star cast, the direction and above all the characterization. END NOTE: I would like to mention a few serials, that should be there in the list, but alas there are only 10 places.

Nukkad Buniyad Khandan Hum Panch Phir Wohi Talash Ek Do Tin Char Appu aur Pappu Kasmakash Reporter.

The 80s was the era of Doordarshan with soaps like Hum Log, Buniyaad and comedy shows like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi which made Doordarshan a household name. Circus, Gul Gulshan Gulfam and Nukkad are some of the serials that come instantly to my mind when I think of the good old days of Doordarshan. Those were phenomenal days when people gathered in crowds to watch the telecast of these serials. The characters of Ramayan and Mahabharat were almost worshiped like God and Goddess throughout the country. Other popular programs included Hindi film songs based programs like Chitrahaar and Rangoli and crime thrillers like Karamchand, Byomkesh Bakshi, Tehkikaat and Janki Jasoos.

This is the big list of Old Doordarshan TV shows and serials. 24 Hi guys.lovely to go back in time, black and white televisions, everyone waiting so eagerly for their favourite serials (wel they were all good or may be we didnt had any choice or option )but they all were great and super,I am looking for one particular serial MULLAH NASEERUDDIN which was made by Doordarshan in collaboration with Russians or Tajikistan? Reliance BIG Home Video has just released 1990-’91 TV serial, Udaan on DVD For all of you who would like to bring back those nostalgic memories, Udaan (Flight) was the name of a popular Hindi TV serial that aired on the Indian Television channel DD National in 1990 – 91. The serial was written and directed by Kavita Choudhary who was also the main lead of the serial. It also starred Shekhar Kapur in a cameo. It was probably the first Indian television show on women empowerment.

The serial is inspired by true story of Kavita Choudhary’s elder sister Kanchan Choudhary who after several hardships went to become the first female Director General of Police. It touched me so deeply that i wrote that song in my copy. So, here is the complete song for you all – “Reshami kalaiyon mein, chankengi chan-chan chan-chan chan-chan, hare kaanch ki chudiyan – 2 Laya hun main sajani nishani ye suhaag ki, Naya rang laaegi kahani ye pyaar ki, tutne na degi kabhi pyaar ka ye bhandan, hare kaanch ki chudiyan – 2 Naino mein piya jo tere nain ghul jaaenge, Gumsum hooth kuch keh ne na paaenge, Samjhengi tere mere pyaar ki ye dhadkan, hare kaanch ki chudiyan – 2 Bund-bund lahu ki sajna tune bahai hai, Desh ke liye tune jaan apni gavaai hai, Rakhungi main dil se laga ke saara jeevan, hare kaanch ki chudiyan – 2”. 237 Dear Sir, Plz Plz Plz Plz Plz restart the old TV serial “Brikram aur Betaal”. I have a small but important request. Do you, or anybody else, recall a dubbed western serial about a maid working in some rich home and falling in love with her employer’s son? The opening song of the serial was something like “Jaaneman, ye pyaar hai. Iss pyar ko humne kahin kho diya hai.

Kho diya hai.” I would be grateful to anyone who gives me a clue about this serial/song. It would be A LIFE-CHANGING ANSWER to me. 255 Hi All Glad to see that you are interested in my collection. I have attached the updated list of my collection of TV series and documentaries for your reference. Go through the lists, and let me know what all you want.

Your requirement will be burned on to DVDs and couriered to you. I will charge nominally for my servicesin order to cover the costs of the blank DVDs, courier charges, packing material and a marginal compensation for my efforts that I have taken in order to build and maintain this collection for over the last two years! I do not do this on a commercial scaleI do not depend on income from this for my livelihood. The main reason for me to charge for this is (a) As a minor return for all the time, money and efforts I have put into building up this collection (b) The more important reason – I have invested close to Rs.

10,000 on hard disks to store my collectionso trying to break even on this front by charging nominal amounts when I distribute my collection. Do let me know if I can help you out.

275 DThanks Abhi. Your list is indeed excellent. I am too a big fan of old TV serials especially the ones that were telecasted on DD.

Please note that the following serials are now available on original DVD/VCDs:- 1.) Malgudi Days 2.) Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi 3.) Dekh Bhai Dekh 4.) Ramayan 5.) Mahabharat 6.) Vikram Betal 7.) Sri Krishna 8.) Office Office 9.) Tekhikaat 10.) Kachhi Dhoop 11.) Udaan 12.) Tenali Rama 13.) Akbar Aur Birbal 14.) Jungle Book 15.) Mirza Ghalib 16.) Flop Show 17.) Kabhi Idhar Kabhi Udhar 18.) Zamana Badal Gaya Hai 19.) Zabhan Sambhal Ke 20.) Fauji By God’s grace I have purchased all the above and now need your help to know which others are available in the market. Please email me on Regards, Pranab. 278 Please furnish the details about the serial “DAYASAGAR”.

It is better to Re-Telecast the serial “DAYASAGAR” in Doordarshan or in any other TV Channels which is required for this Generation. As Most of the TV serials are produced only on the various conflicts of family memebers, which are unnecessary and harmful. The Greatest Historical Stories especially “DAYASAGAR” are very much Useful. Thank You for listing out the serials of Doordarshan. Is there a DVD available of “DAYASAGAR”? If so please give the details.

CAR BATUNI – NOBODY REMEMBERS THIS and I must tell you it had a car that spoke! Distant memory tells me that it was a Premier Padmini. Could have been a Beetle. Googling ‘car batuni’ didnt return any results though. I was born and brought up till 11 in New Delhi and moved to Hyderabad.

Couldn’t like Hyderabad till now. Will eventually settle back in Delhi again! Somehow, living in Delhi, chaste Hindi and Doordarshan have some common connection in my mind.

For the command I developed in English, I always had a patriotic following for chaste Hindi and well. Where did those DD1 Female news presenters go? I wanted to marry couple of them as a kid!

I remember the yellow street lights in East Patel Nagar and life seemed so mysterious, magical. Like every stone on the road had an incredible story beneath it.
